The Opportunity
Nestlé enjoys the reputation of the world’s largest FMCG, and a leader in nutrition, health and wellness. At our Gympie Factory, we produce our iconic coffee brands NESCAFÉ and INTERNATIONAL ROAST.
In this role, you will ensure the timely availability of stock to meet the Beverages Division’s commercial plans and ensuring Customer Service targets are achieved to all internal and external customers of the Beverages Division.
A day in the Life:
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Ensure target Customer Service levels from the Beverages Division to its Domestic Customers, together with Foods, Food Service, Snacks and New Zealand Customers
- Ensure that a robust supply plan is developed and executed to ensure timely stock availability and customer service
- Through the Logistics and the D&SP Manager, manage stock holdings and identify excessive holdings, aged and bad goods, planning to minimize exposure by maintaining finished goods levels with in the head office defined ranges.
- Actively work with demand planning, factory staff and other suppliers to improve product freshness to meet customer expectations.
- Develop contingency plans that enable the identification of potential stock issues and actions to remedy, so as to minimize stock shortages.
What Will Make You Successful:
Two or more years of relevant operational experience in one, or more of the following areas:
- Factory Planning - Supply Network Planning
- Procurement - Supply Chain Development
- Factory Production Team Leader
- Product lifecycle process
- Factory master data management
