The Nestle Gympie Factory is seeking a Supply Chain Support Coordinator to ensure accurate inventory control and material availability through timely reconciliation, variance investigation, and stock adjustments, while supporting production continuity and quality compliance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform reconciliation and investigate variances for incoming raw materials (e.g. green beans) to ensure inventory accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies
  •  Maintain and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SPOs) related to role
  • Complete stock adjustments including write‑offs and movements between SAP locations in accordance with finance, audit and governance requirements
  • Monitor and review expired write‑offs in SAP, liaising with relevant stakeholders and IT support as required to ensure records remain accurate and up to date
  • manage the ordering and availability of critical factory consumables (including sawdust, CO₂, nitrogen, LNG, diesel fuel and caustic soda) to support uninterrupted factory operations
  • Proactively follow up on materials that are on hold or blocked in the system, escalating issues to the QA Coordinator where quality or compliance concerns are identified
  • Check incoming packaging materials variations and if adverse report back to QA
  • Plan and coordinate tote movements to support efficient material flow and storage across the factory, and;
  • Provide operational support to the Operational Buyer as required, including cover for peak workloads or leave periods.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

•1–2 years’ practical experience in an administrative, coordination, or support role within a fast‑paced environment, ideally within manufacturing or Supply Chain/Logistics
•A demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, with the ability to enhance work efficiency through the use of AI‑enabled tools and digital support
•A strong safety mindset, with a proven commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and complying with site safety, quality, and governance requirements, and :
•Confident IT capability, with experience using SAP desirable, or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to enterprise systems.
