As an Accounting Coordinator (Inventory and Payroll), you will work closely with the factory Finance and Production teams to support accounting and materials accounting (inventory-related) functions. You will process payroll and other miscellaneous accounting tasks. You will also collaborate effectively with the Production Team and others to monitor materials data and make recommendations for improvements.

 

 

  • Back-up for all pay period payroll functions and related analyses, including review and reconciliation of new hires, terminations, pay rate changes, promotions, time tracking, deductions, and bonus payouts.
  • Process transactions in SAP to set up vendors, initiate payments, and make corrections.
  • Manage accounting processes such as Scrap and Salvage and miscellaneous month-end reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams such as Production, Operations, Quality, and Accounting.
  • Perform inventory health checks for slow moving items, items in transit, items near expiry, and more.
  • Perform cycle counts, variance analysis, and balance reconciliation.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS.


REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • 1+ years’ experience in accounting, materials, or inventory within a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment.
