The Accounting Analyst provides consistent, and accurate recording of plant operations and financial information. You will ensure that adequate internal controls are in place to secure all company assets, assure compliance with Division and Corporate guidelines, and meet Nestlé Accounting Standards across practices.
- Provide support during period end close (PEC) on materials and financial accounting functions
- Provide analysis and support on material and financial results to aid the leadership team in achieving budgets and loss targets
- Support the Factory Controller on the monthly cost forecasts for the new production lines
- Assist in the preparation of the annual operating budget
- Assist in identifying losses and cost savings opportunities, setting up projects to reduce losses, and building competencies factory wide to drive a zero-loss mindset
- Complete material costing of semi-finished and finished goods for the 5.5oz lines
- Accounts payable responsibilities that include entering good receipts as the back-up receiver for services and indirect materials and vendor support on accounts payable questions
- Provide support for the accounting of plant fixed assets by assisting with the annual property inventories
- All other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- B.S. or B.A. Accounting Degree preferred.
- 2+ years' accounting experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment
