Position Summary

 

As the Financial accounting Lead, you will maintain the integrity of the factory financial structure and providing accuracy in the forecasting, reporting, and analysis of operating costs. You will ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, Nestlé accounting standards, and company policies and standards. You will be in a leadership role responsible for the continuous training and development of factory personnel on financial systems.

Primary Responsibilities
• Develop and manage factory budgets and costs.
• Complete required factory accounting activities, including performing monthly general ledger closing activities in SAP.
• Coordinate the development, cross training, recognition, and coaching of accounting personnel.
• Develop, research, communicate and implement new or updated procedures as dictated by business needs.
• Work cross-functionally with department leads and corporate Finance Team.
• Spend time on the factory floor through leadership activities, working with team leaders and interacting with hourly employees, supporting fixed asset inventories.
• All other duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in an accounting, finance, business, or related field.
• 2+ years’ experience in general accounting, cost accounting, operations control, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• 1+ years’ supervisory experience.
