Position Summary

 

As the Logistics Facilitator (Warehouse Supervisor), you will manage, facilitate, direct and support safety objectives and goals. You will ensure employees work safely and follow all safety policies and procedures.
 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Direct the actions of the warehouse team members who perform finished product receiving, storage and shipping functions in support of plant production operations.
  • Communicate with managers, team leaders, team members, and clerical staff in other plant departments on matters pertaining to warehouse operations.
  • Ensure warehouse operations are performed in a safe, efficient, cost effective and sanitary manner.
  • Provide technical direction to the other Warehouse Team Leaders and coordinate cross-shift warehouse activities.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in Warehouse Management Systems such as LMS, Excel, EWM and other systems/tools that support warehouse operations.
  • Work overtime and weekends as required.


Basic Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1+ years’ experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or transportation environment
  • 1+ years’ supervisory/leadership experience
