Position Summary

 

As a Sanitation Operator, you will be responsible for assisting the Sanitation Supervisor with maintaining the Master Sanitation Program. This will include cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and performing routine upkeep of facilities as assigned by sanitation supervisor. This is vital in keeping our systems in basic condition while providing quality goods to consumers. 
 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for formulation and dispensing of plant cleaning chemicals, caustics, and acids, performing sanitation tasks and CIP (Clean In Place) as required.
  • Drive excellence through working safely, wearing required PPE (full attire in extreme climate conditions for extended periods of time), and adhering to all safety rules and regulations.
  • Application of cleaning chemicals to plant equipment and structures in the production area by using manual hand tools to ensure sanitation effectiveness.
  • Ensure the opening and securing of guards, various equipment, and piping are up to standard during the sanitation process.
  • Perform the necessary maintenance and sanitation as it related to equipment, facilities, and grounds.
  • Able to operate equipment pertaining to sanitation (forklifts, etc.). You will walk behind, drive, clean, and maintain the scrubbers as well as any other lifts and equipment.


Basic Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing, military or related environment
