POSITION SUMMARY:

The Training Lead - Technical Training Center is responsible for the overall coordination of all Operations and Technical Maintenance (World Class Manufacturing), Education & Training (E&T), Leadership initiatives and Pillar activities within a factory Technical Training Center (TTC).

 

  • Support, coordinate and develop the standardized onboarding material for the factory technical teams including Local Leadership Team and all operator, technical operator & maintenance technician roles, which includes leadership, functional, NCE/TPM, line centric and technical competencies, following the Business priorities in alignment with top factory losses.
  • Monitor and coordinate ongoing onboarding and competence management at all sites as well as the determination of onboarding content and plans for development of materials for key competencies, specifically for the Technical Training Center tools.
  • Act as a Change Agent, promoting the vision and the path to Manufacturing Excellence through Education and Training.
  • Train, and coach the Factory Maintenance Teams, HR, and Training Managers in ownership of Technical Maintenance ET activities.
  • Guide, train, and coach the Maintenance, Operations and M.E. Corp team members on E&T practices in the way that is fully integrated with market E&T rollout plan and other M.E. practices.
  • Support identification and execution of key activities and prioritization in order to ensure impact on total market key expected results.
  • Support cross-functional business relevant projects as assigned per E&T Manager.

 

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Engineering, Training and Development or related degree from a technical college, with 5 years of hands-on experience preferred OR HS Diploma and 7 years of hands-on experience OR bachelor’s degree in engineering or related.

 

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $29.36 an hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
