Position Summary
Our Hartwell, Georgia, factory measures an impressive 500,000 square feet. It represents our most versatile facility to date, enabling us to switch product lines with greater speed and efficiency. Together, we take immense pride in producing and distributing the brands that our customers trust and that bring joy to pets' lives. In addition to offering excellent career opportunities to over 370 associates, we actively demonstrate our commitment to the community. We support local pet shelters and rescue efforts, as well as engage in education and hunger relief programs, ensuring that we make a positive impact beyond our factory walls.
In this role you will:
- Track new hire training progress and ensure timely completion of assigned training by following up with new hires and people leaders, as needed.
- Follows up on and secures missing training documentation and maintains various reporting for Training and Development metrics.
- Modify or create checklist training materials as required to meet business needs.
- Process knowledge training delivery and provide on-the-job training to team members.
- Process updates of training content as part of change control / document change control process for shift.
- Track employee movement and subsequent training requirements, qualifications, and evaluation of training effectiveness.
- Represent the training department in internal and external audits.
- Support change management efforts to ensure both business processes and culture are prepared for the successful implementation of training services and enterprise solutions.
- Actively engages in and supports Total Performance Management (TPM) implementation and progression in the factory.
REQUIREMENTS
· High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
· 3+ years of experience in a training capacity within a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment
· Intermediate Computer Skills
OR
· A bachelor’s degree in a Human Resources, Learning, Business, or related field
· 1+ year of experience in a training capacity within a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment
· Intermediate computer skills
The approximate pay rate for this position is $30.47. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
