Position Summary

Nestlé Purina is expanding! Introducing Nestlé Purina’s newest factory in the U.S. – in Hartwell, Georgia – just shy of 110 miles northeast of Atlanta. We’ve recently opened a state of the art distribution center and production facility – our first new factory in over 20 years! We’re thrilled to be joining the Hartwell, GA community and to welcome as many as 240 new members to the Nestlé Purina family by 2023. One more than 100 acres, this 500,000 square foot facility will serve as our most versatile facility with the ability to switch product lines faster and more efficiently than we have ever done before producing and distributing the Nestlé Purina brands our customers trust and pets love. As a Manufacturing Production Coordinator, you will conduct studies on material usage and root cause analysis, as well as supporting annual compliance projects. This person works closely with Manufacturing and Materials Handling Teams within the factory to support the collection, entry and reporting of manufacturing records and inventory management functions. Your role directly affects costing, material requirements planning and performance reporting. As well as reconciling/monitoring all movements, consumptions, and declarations of raw materials/final product documents within the factory, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enter and validate production data using SAP, EWM and other warehouse management systems
  • Analyze, report, and correct production data including usage transactions, production process errors, and quantity transactions to support manufacturing efficiency
  • Investigate plant floor process errors to determine root causes using SAP transactional history
  • Work with production management to develop action plans for addressing process failures
  • Support inventory management teams through materials tracking and inventory oversight
  • Team coaching All other duties as assigned
  • MUST BE OPEN TO WORK ALL SHIFTS

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum)

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year’s materials accounting or production systems experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, military, or related environment
