POSITION SUMMARY

 

As the Maintenance Coordinator (Purchasing and Storeroom), you will maintain the purchasing functions for stock, non-stock, consumable, and specialized parts for the Maintenance and Production Teams on the night shift. You will be responsible for all CAPEX and other manufacturing-related purchasing, as well as handling storeroom minimum stock levels, inventory, invoicing, and accounts payable. You’ll also manage new and existing vendor relationships.

 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Order stock, non-stock and special parts for Maintenance, CAPEX, and other groups.
  • Process, print, and review all purchase orders, expediting as required.
  • Aid in cost control by compiling maintenance management costs, adhering to competitive bidding practices, and identifying opportunities for parts standardization.
  • Inventory and reconcile parts, investigating any variances.
  • Report on storeroom metrics including out of stock, overmax, inventory accuracy, etc.
  • Execute Accounts Payable and Invoicing functions critical to the storeroom including but not limited to invoicing investigations.
  • Support Maintenance Planner and Technicians in parts staging and kits for preventative maintenance.
  • All other duties as assigned to support Team, Factory, and Nestle Purina business needs.
  • MUST BE OPEN TO NIGHT SHIFT.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1+ years’ experience in inventory control or a clerical role in a manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, or military environment.

 

OTHER

  • SAP Experience Preferred.

The approximate pay range for this position is $43,000 to $65,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
