Position Summary

As Plant Accountant, you’ll help ensure the consistent, accurate recording of plant operations and financial information. You will implement and maintain adequate internal controls to secure all company assets and to assure compliance with Division and Corporate guidelines, as well as Nestle Accounting Standards.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Accounts payable responsibilities including vendor support, and creating purchase orders for services and indirect materials.
  • Material costing of semi-finished and finished goods.
  • Management of factory purchasing cards.
  • Analysis and support regarding material and financial results to aid the leadership team in achieving budget and loss targets.
  • Accounting of plant fixed assets, ensuring accurate and timely closure of capital jobs.
  • Audits and compliance testing of internal controls as directed by Factory Controller.
  • All other duties as assigned.

 

Basic Qualifications (Minimum)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 1+ years’ accounting experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment.

OR

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 3+ years’ accounting experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment.
