Our Hartwell, Georgia, factory measures an impressive 500,000 square feet. It represents our most versatile facility to date, enabling us to switch product lines with greater speed and efficiency. As the Production Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for functional leadership on-shift for all associates in the Meat Preparation, Processing, Retort, and Packaging departments. Work collaboratively across departments as you also provide on-shift direction to the Maintenance Team as required for troubleshooting and support.   • Responsible for safe and efficient production operations on-shift with specific responsibility for one line.
  • Manage the production schedule to ensure the right product, quantity, and timing.
  • Manage the timing and execution of changeover, cleaning, and maintenance activities.
  • Coach and develop competency in the NCE methodology specifically with relation to Continuous Improvement, Leadership Development, TPM, and Goal Alignment.
  • Encourage an environment that builds and strengthens teamwork and ensures a culture of Zero Safety Incidents and Zero Quality Defects is achievable.
  • Coordinate with the Maintenance Planner/Schedulers to ensure the timely execution of CIL activities by the production team.
  • Manage work schedule coverage daily to support time off, training & development, and TPM activities while maintaining safe, quality production.
  • Monitor receiving schedule and current inventory including dry/packaging/frozen materials.
  • Analyze and report any discrepancies regarding product available vs. product required.

 

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in a maintenance, manufacturing, military, or related environment
  • 1+ year of supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, military or related environment

The approximate pay range for this position is $66,000.00 - $106,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
