As a Sr Production Engineering Specialist, you’ll analyze overall facility productivity and implement improvements to help us achieve the highest possible performance and efficiency. Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders within our logistics and supply chain functions to help us deliver low cost and highly efficient operations. Your expertise will be critical in enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and overall performance in our distribution center.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for warehouse automation, collaborating with automation analysts to enhance supply chain efficiency and serving as a liaison among site, vendor, and corporate partners to resolve software issues safely.
- Analyze real-time data and operating conditions to implement changes and benchmark labor standards, while using visual aids to motivate teams in identifying performance gaps.
- Facilitate process improvement initiatives aligned with Nestlé's goals and participate in cross-functional improvement initiatives including loss analysis.
- Work with leadership to develop strategies for maximizing warehouse productivity and throughput.
- Create detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) involving production and engineering teams’ work.
- Coordinate trials to enhance efficiency and support safety training and incident investigations.
- Assess operational systems for efficiency improvements and recommend necessary changes.
- Identify and mitigate risks in warehouse automation, implementing contingency plans to minimize downtime.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, electronics, robotics, or related field and 3+ years of experience leading projects in an automated warehouse environment.
- OR Associate’s degree in engineering, electronics, robotics, or a related field and 5+ years of experience leading projects in an automated warehouse environment.
The approximate pay range for this position is $86,000 to $127,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
