Position Summary

As a Sr. Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for maintenance operations at the plant; overseeing the storeroom, establishing budgets for repair costs, and developing/implementing technical solutions to establish efficiencies of production equipment. You’ll also foster a safe work environment, ensuring all quality and environmental standards are met, and be responsible for the proper management of the day-to-day operational environmental issues.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop vision needed to lead and oversee all maintenance support to factory operational equipment, as well as general facility maintenance.
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of the Maintenance Department to maintain equipment at the highest practical level through continuous improvement of the maintenance systems, as well as leadership within the facility’s continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work with team members to develop the most cost-effective repair strategies and manage maintenance spending responsibilities to achieve factory maintenance budget.
  • Complete planning and budgeting for maintenance activities including extraordinary maintenance as well as annual budget for labor, repair materials, and outside contractors.

 

Basic Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment and 2+ years of supervisory experience

OR

  • Engineering degree with 3+ years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment and 2+ years of supervisory experience
