Position Summary

 

Our Hartwell, Georgia, factory measures an impressive 500,000 square feet. It represents our most versatile facility to date, enabling us to switch product lines with greater speed and efficiency. The technical production lead provides technical mechanical support on-shift for the packaging department.The technical production lead supports the maintenance team by executing planned maintenance activities and providing technical leadership and support for the production department. The operator-technician is responsible for working proactively and collaboratively with maintenance technicians and the Production Supervisor to transfer knowledge and execution of basic maintenance activities (Cleaning, Inspection, Lubrication) to the autonomous maintenance group and to learn from the MWG. They will be a systems expert and capable of teaching methodologies to new employees. They will also cover line positions for breaks, and to allow other operators the opportunity to practice their NCE and TPM skills.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  1. Responsible for efficient operation of team tasks and responsibilities to safely produce a product with zero deviations from quality standards.
  2. Responsible for maintaining basic condition of equipment through Cleaning, Inspection, & Lubrication activities.
  3. Provide on-shift troubleshooting support to identify and correct technical breakdowns and minor stoppages.
  4. Teach and lead NCE/TPM methodology to perform root cause analysis to proactively identify and eliminate reoccurring failures.
  5. Cultivate an environment that helps to build and strengthen the team concept and sets the culture of Zero Safety Incidents, Zero Quality Defects, and Zero Preventable Stoppages.
  6. Provide training and assistance to improve competency of fellow members as needed.
  7. Build rapport and collaborate effectively with technical members of the production team to own responsibility of basic maintenance activities, minor stoppages, HTRP, and SOCs.
  8. Build and develop work instructions and troubleshooting’s in POKA.
  9. Perform PMs as assigned by the Planner/Scheduler to proactively prevent failures and promote safe and efficient production.
  10. Other job duties, as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: HS Diploma or GED
  • Experience: 2+ years work experience in a Manufacturing Maintenance environment
