Position Summary

 

We are looking for a Boutique Manager to lead our Nespresso Boutique in Hasselt a minimum period of 3 months, with possibilty of prolongation or further growth within the company. 

 

As a Boutique Manager at Nespresso, you will be responsible for growing one of our Boutiques by promoting sales of our coffee, machines & accessories and enrolling new members for the Nespresso Club. You will be ultimately responsible for inventory and cash flow. You will lead a passionate and dynamic team of sales advisors who, by providing ultimate service, respond optimally to each customer's wants and needs. In doing so, both individual and group targets are set annually.

 

It is important that the team is properly managed, but above all coached and motivated. You hold monthly team meetings and ensure that all Nespresso guidelines and procedures are respected by the team. Daily, you monitor and improve the team's service level through evaluations and discussions with sales advisors and Assistant Boutique Managers.

Communicating with all departments involved in the Boutique (Area Manager, accountancy, IT, logistics, marketing, HR) and working in a planned manner, you will ensure that all targets and deadlines are met.

 

A day in the life of a Boutique Manager 

 

  • Achieve growth by developing the Boutique business through coffee, machine and accessory sales in combination with New Club Member registration.
  • Develop People: build, motivate and manage the team
  • Set the sales and qualitative objectives for the Boutique
  • Inventory management
  • Ensure a seamless and consistent customer experience
  • Organize the planning of the team and the demo agents
  • Respect budget amounts
  • Communicate properly with all departments involved in the Boutique business (accountancy, IT, logistics, marketing etc.) and respect deadlines.

 

What will make you successful: 

 

  • Completion of secondary level of education plus 2-3 years of higher education at a university or a specialist college
  • Minimum 4-5 years of extensive professional experience in Retail (all additional experience in hospitality and up-market hotel, tourism, etc is a plus).
  • Experience in customer complaint management, project management processes, change management and people management (internal & external)
  • You're able to motivate and develop your direct reports and are stress resilient
  • Willingness to work with challenging hours with presence required during busy days, at opening and closing times.
  • Excellent communicative skills (Fluency in Dutch & English and possibly a working proficiency of French
