Position Summary:

 

The Warehouse & DC (Distribution Center) Supervisor plays a critical role in keeping warehouse operations running safely, accurately, and efficiently. This role leads and engages a team of hourly associates across a defined operational area—such as inbound returns, order picking, sorting, or outbound shipping—directly influencing productivity, quality, and service levels. By partnering closely with peers and internal teams including inventory, customer solutions, sales, and supply chain, the supervisor helps ensure daily execution aligns with overall site goals and business priorities. This is a fully onsite role, Monday-Thursday from 5 am-3:30pm ET based in our Hazleton, PA warehouse, providing hands-on leadership and real-time support to drive operational performance.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead and supervise 18-22 hourly associates across core warehouse activities, including picking, packing, shipping, returns, and return‑to‑vendor processes 
  • Plan and execute optimal staffing for assigned shifts and departments in partnership with production and wave planning teams
  • Oversee workflow on warehouse lines to ensure smooth product movement and alignment with upstream and downstream teams
  • Ensure on‑time order processing and execution to meet service level commitments to customers
  • Maintain accurate operational and productivity records; analyze daily metrics, report results to management, and provide feedback to support accountability and recognition
  • Drive productivity, quality, and accuracy through hands‑on direction, coaching, training, and motivation on the warehouse floor (this is an active, non‑desk role)
  • Coach and develop Warehouse Leads to effectively support and engage hourly associates
  • Identify operational issues, analyze root causes, and present solutions and continuous improvement recommendations to warehouse leadership
  • Make real‑time operational decisions to keep daily plans on track and support business needs
  • Assign work, manage priorities and deadlines, and ensure consistent application of company policies and communications
  • Leverage warehouse systems (ERP, WMS) to monitor performance, identify trends or risks, and execute corrective actions
  • Monitor hourly and daily reporting, escalating concerns as needed
  • Communicate clearly and follow up consistently with associates to support performance and engagement
  • Enforce safety, security, and housekeeping standards; model safe behaviors, hold associates accountable, and ensure equipment and tools are available and in working order

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business strongly preferred, will consider equivalent industry experience 
  • 3+ years of distribution or warehouse experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role preferred
  • Demonstrated experience planning operations and driving continuous improvement
  • Proven ability to operate in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
