As a CDL Truck Driver for our Hereford plant, you will be responsible for adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, as well as maintaining truck cleanliness per company standard. You will communicate with team members at each facility to coordinate movement of product and/or materials, and will work cohesively and professionally with your team members.
- Transfer product between facilities in Friona and Amarillo, and transfer trailers to Penske for preventative maintenance.
- Assist with trailer weekly inventory.
- Transfer disposals to landfill.
- Report any issues with leased and owned equipment, keeping record of all driving movements and turning them in weekly.
- Maintain CDL license according to DOT regulations.
- Check to make sure all paperwork/seals are placed correctly at the dock/gate before leaving a facility with a loaded trailer.
- Make sure all safety protocol is being followed such as air locks and wheel chalks, and follow the proper safety protocol for backing up into docks.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Class A CDL License along with a current D.O.T medical card
The approximate hourly pay for this position is $20.34. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
