Position Summary
Founded in 1988, our factory in Hereford produces the Merrick brand, a leader in natural and organic pet food We believe that our people are the source of our competitive advantage, and as we invest in our people, we invest in our shared future. As a Coordinator Production Planning and Scheduling, you will collaborate with teams to provide the factory with production schedules, maintain materials, and order finished products from other factories. You will train in each function, with primary focus on ensuring customer satisfaction through inventory level oversight within the factory.
- Utilize SAP and other digital tools to create schedules for production lines
- Monitor adherence to the production schedule, adjusting as needed and identifying risks
- Communicate and map out finished good needs at local factory
- Keep inventory “right sized” to manage warehouse space while servicing customers’ needs
- Collaborate with brand teams to execute and plan launches and coordinate with materials team to order packing materials and ingredients
- Maintain master data of each material type including lead time to obtain, vendor information and safety stock numbers
- Actively participate in factory improvement initiatives
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 6+ months experience working in inventory management, ordering, purchasing, or data entry in a manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, military or related environment.
The approximate pay range for this position is $47,000.00 to $68,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
