As an Environmental Staff Engineer, you will be responsible for capital project development, management, and implementation while administering the Environmental program at the facility. You will be responsible for process improvements. You will also develop and implement equipment and systems to enhance performance, reliability, and compliance improvements within the factory.

 

  • Administer Environmental program and policies for the factory.
  • Adhere to and enforce Nestlé Purina Safety, Health and Environmental guidelines
  • Perform all environmental checks as required by position and/or product and as documented within factory Environmental Program.
  • Develop project design and prepare budget.
  • Research new equipment, systems, and process to advance plant operations.
  • Coordinate and manage facility energy usage through measuring, monitoring, and improvement projects.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science or a related field.
  • 4+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment managing environmental compliance, project management and maintenance support.

 

Other

  • Experience working with Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) or equivalent from another state.

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $90,000 - $128,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
