Position Summary

Partners team at our head office in Welwyn Garden City. Reporting directly into the Head of Growth Analytics globally, you will play a pivotal role in maximising the effectiveness of our media investments for Cereal Partners Worldwide (CPW) whilst developing a fantastic remote team to achieve great things.

A day in the life of...

Ultimately, you will be responsible for leading and developing how we maximise our end-to-end media investment by using data, analytics and media industry knowledge to guide the development of local media plans. Working in partnership with whole host of different markets, you will challenge the media agency where appropriate to unlock value that supports the delivery of our commercial strategy.

 

A key part of your role will be to engage with stakeholders to optimise budget allocation at a global, regional and market level whilst building media understanding throughout the business, specifically through the media champion community. You will also:

  • Lead the development and deployment of the annual media planning process aligned to the global brand guidelines, supporting the markets to deliver effective media plans that drive commercial advantage for CPW.
  • Coordinate a global media test and learn programme, leveraging analytics to identify new opportunities for CPW to better invest in media.
  • Deliver global media insights through a variation of lenses such as competitive and annual media plan reviews and tracking of asset utilisation.
  • Act as the go to in-house media expert providing ad hoc support for global brand desks, regions and markets.
  • Coach and support individuals to achieve development goals aligned to their career aspirations. Helping them to be the best that they can be.
What Will Make You Successful?

As the successful candidate, you will have a breadth of senior media experience, ideally with a blend of agency and in house experience and have operated in a similar regional/global role previously. You will have detailed media and marketplace knowledge such as planning and buying paid media across both online and offline channels, allowing you to add value across our media activity. You will thrive when working with stakeholders across all levels coupled with your ability to understand our business from a commercial standpoint. You will have fantastic communication skills and understand how your decisions affect commercial outcomes. You will also:

 

  • Be degree educated or equivalent with a focus towards analytics.
  • Have experience of working and managing media data across a number of channels and markets.
  • Be able to demonstrate your knowledge of media measurement techniques such as Marketing Mix Modelling, Attribution and Brand Lift.
  • Have a solid understanding of digital media technologies, their advantages and limitations
  • Have detailed knowledge of managing media agencies scope of work and budgets.
  • Have experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams with the ability to demonstrate strategic thinking.
  • Be able to run sizable projects and work streams from concept to delivery.
  • Demonstrate a pragmatic approach with the ability to operate and execute at pace.
  • Have prior experience of working in a matrix organisation.
