Green Coffee Regional Sustainability Deployment Specialist (Manager level)

  • Working location: Regional role base in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam


POSITION SUMMARY

  • In coffee origins in Zone Asia, Oceania and Africa, support the deployment of processes and systems required to enhance data management at farmer group - Responsible Sourcing (RS) unit - and supply chain levels, improve the visibility and control points of the physical green coffee flow, and the selected digital/IT solutions. 
  • Assist regional implementation of green coffee sustainability best practices including traceability processes, RS units data quality and data management, documentation maintenance and digital tools deployment within the Nescafe Plan scope. 
  • Collaborate on the implementation of required actions across multiple markets and value chains in Asia and Africa to improve the efficiency and integrity of Green Coffee sustainability metrics. 


MAIN DUTIES 

  • Up to date and complete data about the farmers and farms, within the RS units in scope. Data quality and organization maintained across multiple RS units and multiple crop years.
  • Up to date and adapted documentation for the origins in scope
  • Selected digital solutions deployed effectively according to business requirements and specific green coffee value chain conditions, and periodically upgraded and improved according to practical experiences.
  • Timely and complete green coffee ESG reporting for the origins in scope.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • More than 2 years on-the-job experience with coffee/agricultural process.
  • More than 2 years of experience supporting data management, process controls or digital value chain solutions.
  • Knowledge of ESG and due diligence regulations like EUDR, CS3D and HREDD.
  • A recent successful leadership experience in sustainability-related topics.
  • Proven capacity for logical analysis and delivering complex projects.
  • Network contacts with coffee suppliers, coffee value chain actors and sustainability partners.
  • Expertise in process mapping, systems design and data management.
  • Knowledge of coffee commercialization, quality and logistics.
  • Fluent in both Vietnamese and English.
