Trade Marketing Manager - Channel Development

POSITION SNAPSHOT
•    Location: Head Office, Ho Chi Minh City

 

MAIN DUTIES:
•    Provide input for strategies and plans that deliver channel growth based on consumer, shopper, and customer requirements.
•    Identify priority channels for the category/market and work with category managers to recommend tailored category channel plans in line with the overall market strategy.
•    Develop and propose the in-store vision of success for the channel in each category. Support its implementation and continuously review the effectiveness of our in-store actions.
•    Contribute channel inputs to the ICP process by identifying key opportunities and possible action plans for each priority channel in the market.
•    Recommend actionable in-store solutions based on a clear understanding of shopper behavior within the priority channel(s).
•    Recommend clear promotional guidelines based on shopper insights and current market knowledge. Ensure all promotional investments are properly reviewed and evaluated.
•    Continuously source, update, and communicate the latest developments, trends, initiatives, and competitive actions within the channel, assessing implications and opportunities for Nestlé categories and brands.
•    Work with customer teams to define and develop appropriate channels, key customer execution, sales, and TTS targets. Support the construction of key commercial propositions at the channel level.
•    Ensure adherence to all company principles and policies.
    
REQUIREMENTS:
•    5+ years of commercial experience; previous experience in Sales and Marketing.
•    Demonstrable record of success in a customer-facing role/channel management. Understands customers/shoppers and the selling process.
•    Understanding of key business functions.
•    Ability to motivate and develop people.
•    Strong analytical and strategic thinking; planning and organizing/project management skills.
•    Influencing, leadership, interpersonal skills, and teamwork.
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills.
•    Service-oriented with a business mindset.
•    Good understanding of distributor and sales working processes/policies.
•    Experience in DMS and Business Intelligence systems is a plus.
•    Proficient in English communication.
