Under the direction of the Head of eCommerce, the Sr. Director of eCommerce Operations, is responsible for the functional management, leadership and execution of all operations related activities for the assigned Nestle Health Science brands/categories.  This pivotal role in critical to ensuring our online sales channels operate seamlessly.  You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our ecommerce platform, optimizing processes, and driving efficiency to enhance the overall customer journey.  You will also be responsible for advancing NHSc’s content management strategy, as well as brand protection initiatives.  Your expertise will contribute to the growth and success of both our 1P and 3P businesses across Amazon, Walmart.com, Omnichannel, and Pure Play retail partners. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the ecommerce operations team, the content management team, and the brand protection team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Oversee the management of end-to-end ecommerce operations, inventory management, fulfillment, and returns processing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, customer service, finance, and logistics to align strategies and achieve business goals.
  • Monitor and report key performance metrics, analyze data, and generate insights to identify areas for improvement and implement optimization strategies.
  • Master 1P & 3P ecommerce platform tools and technologies to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance across all ecommerce operations.
  • Partner with vendors, suppliers, and other third-party partners to cultivate and maintain strong working relationships required to deliver a best-in-class operational experience.
  • Ensure a seamless shopping experience by resolving customer issues related to orders, payments, and shipping in a timely and customer-centric manner.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy for our ecommerce platforms, ensuring alignment with our brand identity and business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of sales campaigns, promotions, and innovation launches.
  • Lead brand protection initiatives intended to ensure the marketplace is free of unauthorized sellers, counterfeit products, and any sourcing mechanisms that could damage brand integrity.
     

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field required, MBA a plus.
  • 10+ years of eCommerce and/or supply chain experience required
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, technologies, and order fulfillment processes. 
  • Knowledge of SAP and/or similar platforms.  
  • Experience in the consumer goods Health & Wellness space is a plus. 
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
  • High level of organizational skills, good written and oral communication skills.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to multi-task and follow-up when responses are required.
  • Problem solver with a solutions oriented mindset.
  • Must be a dynamic leader who can push past obstacles, overcome adversity.
  • Must be an articulate communicator who can quickly synthesize data into action.
  • Travel expected: up to 20%, some overnight travel required
