This individual will provide leadership and vision for driving the analytic reporting, customer view, analysis and business insights to drive our evolving direct to consumer business (includes Puritan’s Pride, Persona, Vital Proteins, Garden of Life, Nuun and Nestle Nutrition Store).

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Partner with DTC team to develop reporting plan for key KPIs including lifetime value, cac, attribution, retention indicators, etc
  • Build and leverage customer proposition models to understand conversion, retain and churn.
  • Build data driven customer segments that can be leveraged across acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Leverage and synthesize user data to facilitate data-driven business decisions; using customer acquisition, retention etc.  
  • 360 view of Consumer across our 1P data/our dtc sites
  • Partner with DTC leaders to define experimentation and optimization plans based on data insights.
  • Partner with data science to understand plans and help define business requirements for the data lake and infrastructure.
  • Partner with insights and analytics organization to help provide broad view of consumer and help define the role of dtc within the omnichannel environment.
  • Oversee competitive intel/market info (e.g. similar web) to develop external benchmarks. Explore new competitive intel capabilities/partners in support of DTC.
  • Manage team of 3 to provide analysis and reporting
     

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in analytics, finance, business, or related area of study. 
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in data management required.
  • Experience in healthcare experience required, with knowledge of distributor-based business preferred.
  • 5-7 years’ experience with analytics, data management, data systems, Excel, and Access required, experience with a multi-band portfolio a plus
  • Must have direct-to-consumer experience in an analytic or research role.
  • Story telling with data with the vision to drive business action.
  • Strong coach and leader, comfortable working across levels and teams
  • Technical skills needed to drive analytics reporting, model development and training including strong SQL skills, data visualization experience  (i.e. Microsoft BI, Tableau, Looker), Advanced Excel.
     

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Advanced problem solving with the ability to create tools and analysis to resolve complex data issues with innovative solutions.
  • Ability to design reporting solutions to meet the requirements of cross-functional partners. 
  • Advanced knowledge of data manipulation techniques and procedures in order to build comprehensive reporting solutions.
  • Ability to find and implement simple solutions to complex problems and drive process efficiency.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong intra- and inter-departmental / cross-functional relationships, and lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proven ability to handle conflict and competing priorities and align resources accordingly.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate and collaborate successfully with all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic leadership and change management with solid managerial fundamentals.
  • Strong verbal, written & presentation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent demonstrated process improvement and project management skills.
