The Head of E-Commerce (VP Level) is responsible for developing and managing all marketing activities across multiple marketplaces; manages our 3rd party Amazon agency and ALL retail.com marketplaces. and serves as the primary point of contact to all Brand teams for Ecommerce marketing planning, execution, and reporting. This role works closely with the internal Ecommerce Sales team, Digital/Media and Creative marketing teams and is responsible for developing and evaluating Ecommerce programs against KPIs to significantly drive profitable sales and optimize spend across Nestle Health Science (NHSc). 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Manage day-to-day 3rd party Amazon specific Agency to optimize programs and drive results.
  • Work with brands to develop budgets, spend cycles and reporting KPI’s
  • Execute and manage marketing campaign strategies and tactics from inception through launch, through post-run conversion reporting (tactical post-mortems on performance)
  • Provide Nature’s Bounty brand insights to agency teams to maximize placement and spend opportunities
  • Provide weekly reporting on sales, profitability, ROAS, issues/challenges (OOS issues, other supply chain issues)
  • Maximize spend by brand while optimizing profits- work with agency to understand AMS/AMG/AAP opportunities that drive customers to convert, and increase profitability 
  • Understand NBTY Brands, Branding Positions, Customer Demographics and Shopper behaviors to drive conversion and profitable sales across ALL Retail.com (Walmart.com, Costco.com, Walgreens.com, etc)
  • Evaluate Brand profitability across Amazon channels (drive campaigns around profitability where appropriate)
  • Continuously optimize product (“ASIN”) data, attributes and SEO (in process of evaluating PIM solution to transfer digital content across retailers)
  • Collaborate with Brands, Sales Team, other stakeholders throughout the organization to optimize content, awareness and buy-in- raise/escalate issues to ensure smooth process from creation through execution
  • Provide expertise on current Ecommerce industry best practices. Consult on cross-functional projects to ensure Ecommerce principles are incorporated

 

Experience & Education Requirements: 

 

  • Minimum of bachelor degree in a subject area related to Business, Marketing, Management or relate with advanced Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 15+ years strategic experience in wholesale, direct-to-consumer or retail businesses.
  • 10+ direct Ecommerce experience in marketing with strong working knowledge of Amazon platforms and tools.
  • Extensive knowledge of e-commerce technology and sophisticated analytics
  • 10+ years of experience  in running large projects and programs with significant change & stakeholder management component. Experience in supporting the Business in prioritizing portfolio of projects and delivering agreed portfolio. 
  • Senior business background in various roles within the functional area. 
  • Full functional knowledge across own functional area.
