Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.

 

This role will work 1st shift: 7am-3:30pm, Monday - Friday. 

 

The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for monitoring inventory levels to ensure accuracy and proper stock rotation by performing the following duties. Also, they are responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Prepares reports to replenish picking inventory

· Coordinates transfers and sample/stability product requests

· Researches discrepancies in inventory

· Collects and prepares pull down requests for packers

· Logs cube and weight for new items

· Assists with the distribution of work

· Review drivers log

· Performs other duties as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL: 

· Must be licensed to operate lift equipment (licensing may be obtained through internal or external training)

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

· Regularly lifting up to 40lbs and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 70lbs with assistance


EXPERIENCE:   

· Prior inventory experience within a manufacturing or warehousing environment


SKILLS: 

· Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information to other associates in English

· Basic mathematical skills

· Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

· Ability to utilize AS400 computer

· Ability to utilize Microsoft excel and word

· Ability to utilize Lotus Notes


BEHAVIORAL CAPABILITIES:

· Exhibit positive attitude regarding work and responsibilities

· Ability to work collaboratively within teams

· Ability to maintain effectiveness during major changes in work tasks or the work environment, adjusting effectively to within new work structures, processes, requirements or cultures

· Is creative and intellectually curious; tries different and novel ways to solve obstacles

 

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $18.27-$22.61Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
