Position Summary:
As the Production Supervisor you will ensure that production targets are met while maintaining a safe and secure work environment for team members. You will be responsible for coaching the team, as well as making sure that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and other applicable regulations are adhered to, and to ensure the quality, quantity and integrity of the products produced and distributed. This position will support 3rdd Shift, 11p.m.-7:30 a.m., Sunday- Thursday with potential for weekend support as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership and guidance to the team for Daily Management systems to ensure high levels of quality, problem identification and resolution, productivity, and associate involvement and ownership
- Leads up to 25-35 team members
- Ensures safety policies and practices are adhered to and work habits support a culture of safety
- Responsible for creating a safe, healthy, and positive working environment for all associates
- Plans work schedules and manages overtime - keeps accurate attendance records
- Monitors productivity to make sure that efficiency, cost, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met daily
- Maintains and updates all applicable records and systems
- Files proper reports in accordance with company policy/practice (accident, probation, etc.)
- Lead process improvements and ongoing initiatives
Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ production or manufacturing operations experience, preferred
- 1+ years’ previous lead/supervision experience, required
- PC skills that encompass Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP (ex. SAP) applications
- Knowledge of GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices), a plus
- Military experience, a plus
- Bachelor’s degree, a plus
Skills:
- Must have strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Must be flexible and adaptable in a continuously changing environment
- Must be a strong communicator, with ability to positively influence others
The approximate pay range for this position is $70,000- $85,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
