Position Summary
The Senior Manager, 3PL Operations serves as the strategic lead and primary liaison between Supply Chain, Commercial teams, and external 3PL partners. This role is accountable for end-to-end 3PL network performance, driving operational excellence, customer service, and cost efficiency across multiple distribution centers.
This position plays a critical leadership role in advancing supply chain initiatives, inventory management, on-time consumer delivery, and system alignment between internal and 3PL platforms. The role partners cross-functionally to align demand, supply, and execution, ensuring high service levels, system integrity, and long-term operational stability through continuous improvement and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead performance and governance across multiple 3PL distribution centers ensuring alignment to inventory, service, cost, and compliance expectations.
- Drive accountability for key KPIs including on-time delivery, OS&D, inventory accuracy, and cost per unit.
- Establish and maintain standardized processes, SOPs, and operational controls across the 3PL network.
- Serve as the primary liaison between supply chain and commercial teams, ensuring execution of customer requirements and resolution of escalations.
- Provide visibility on order execution, inventory flow, and customer service performance.
- Lead 3PL workstreams for major supply chain initiatives, support, planning, and execution.
- Develop and manage KPI scorecards and lead monthly reviews with stakeholders and 3PL partners.
- Identify and execute cost savings and efficiency initiatives across transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Some travel required to 3PL Sites
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for service or inventory issues.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across planning, transportation, customer service, finance, IT, and commercial teams.
- Oversee operational reporting and analytics to provide visibility into performance and drive decision-making.
- Drives long-term strategic planning through forward-looking insights, enabling future-state design, business foresight, and growth-oriented decision-making.

Experience & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of supply chain experience with strong expertise in 3PL management and distribution operations.
- Experience leading supply chain transformation initiatives and system integrations.
- Deep knowledge of warehousing, transportation, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Strong analytical skills (SAP, Excel, Power BI preferred).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in multi-site distribution environments preferred.

The approximate pay range for this position is $160,000 to $170,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
