Business Development Manager - eBusiness & Emerging Channels

    

Position Snapshot

  • Build dedicated, strong business development emerging channel resources by opening and tapping into the new emerging opportunities/channels, e-shop, digital business partnerships
  • Reinforce the right portfolios in new business opportunities; Working closely with Sales Team to create more sales opportunities in market

A day in the life of...

  • Identify, evaluate and negotiate new sales and categories growth opportunities across multiple categories, nurture and drive the emerging channels (omni-channel)
  • Lead and implement the new/emerging channels/categories plan for the responsible brands, consolidating and leading, business growth plans, including but not limited to Alliance partnerships, Franchising/ Licensing, E-channels etc.                                          
  • Collaborate and support internal stakeholders in the development of consumer/shoppers’ portraits, generate the key insights and cut-through communication in line with brand purpose to drive category growth as well as developing effective and efficient brand/category development plans
  • Collaborate and develop strategy to evolve the consumers Journey on digital/online strategy roadmap
  • Act as the custodian and owner of the emerging channels business, lead & explore the business potential & opportunities across the businesses. Develop and continuously update the progress and share with the key stakeholders. Monitor the execution in the market and take corrective actions when necessary
  • Support and conduct ROI analysis and make recommendations to GM on annual brand investment plan. Own and drive sustainable profitable growth across respective, responsible brands and channels
  • Set Clear KPIs for the Brands and / or Channels and consistently measure and monitor progress, take corrective actions promptly to drive the business

What will make you successful

  • Degree holder or above in Marketing or business-related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years Sales & Marketing / eBusiness Development experience in FMCG / consumer product industry / Portfolio development
  • Solid experience on B2B eBusiness Management (i.e HKTV mall, Ztore...etc); Experience in Communication Agency, Manufacturers, Portfolio management and I&R are definite advantage
  • Good business acumen, high level of initiative and self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Proficient PC skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
