Market Development Manager

Position Snapshot

  • Manage Sanpellegrino product selling, marketing promotions and account strategies in the HORECA, Retail and E-commerce channels
  • Execute specific business plans & objectives through the control of product sales, distribution and marketing strategies

A day in the life of...

Area Management / Planning

  • Maintain and improve relations with business partners interacting with key stakeholders ensuring regular client and market visits
  • Establish strategic plans and objectives with measurable goals
  • Review plans in channel against market insights/ new opportunities for business potential; Accelerate new channels in off trade including retail and E-commerce 

 

Leadership/ Communication

  • Communicate company goals / direction with distributors
  • Create influence and gain feedback on business opportunities in the region

 

Territory Execution / Business performance

  • Report on monthly market sell-out analysis, stock inventory, channel insight and competitor insights
  • Analyze and evaluate new markets / channels in the territory
  • Provide distributors, wholesalers and key HORECA customers with up-to-date brand trainings

What will make you successful

  • Bachelor of Business or above with Majors in marketing/International Business preferred
  • A minimum of 6 years’ FMCG and MNC experience with strong distributor management experience
  • Proven record in Sales with well understanding of HORECA, retails and e-commerce channels
  • Strategic and analytical mindset and demonstrated negotiation and communication skills
  • Desire to succeed and committed with initiative and creativity
  • Full of enthusiasm and confidence with strong work ethic
  • Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English, Chinese & Mandarin
  • Proficient PC skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
