Channel Sales Manager - GBA & CBECs

Position Snapshot

Develop and implement annual customer plans that are aligned with overall business and customer strategies, while achieving profitable sales objectives

A day in the life of...

  • Build complete Channels Development Plan online and offline to drive the total business in B2B CBEC and GBA offline business 
  • Provide strategic directions to the team to plan & execute that are aligned with business objectives and customer strategies                
  • Lead, coach & supervise the team to facilitate excellence in execution in the daily business by planning, communicating, anticipating, measuring results consistently and implementing corrective action or learning
  • Develop productive business relationship beyond the buyer to include cross-functional leaders and reporting levels at least 1 up from the buyer/category manager. Lead development of customer relationship including joint business planning and top customer engagement                
  • Accountable and responsible to achieve/exceed the agreed upon channel & account KPIs & the assigned sales target                
  • Adheres to all Company principles & policies, local trading terms, safety and legal regulations
  • Ensure development of careers, succession plans, development and coaching of Accounts personnel as well as direct reports
  • Frequent travel to China once COVID-19 situation allows

What will make you successful

  • Degree holder or above in Business or related disciplines
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ FMCG or MNC experience specializing in CBEC & GBA and other New Channel Development business with successful track record
  • Understand the business environment, experience to direct & manage the good relationship with CBEC/GBA trading partners & key platform business operations
  • Strong in China distributor management from setting to local execution and monitoring KPI
  • Driving the business growth in each customer and capitalize all opportunities
  • Positive thinking, detail-oriented, high degree of self-motivation, reliable, persistent and result-orientated with good problem solving, analytical & presentation skills 
  • Capability to build a vision; to develop strategic recommendation and to manage conflicts among channels efficiency
  • Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Proficient PC skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
