Position Summary

We are looking for a dynamic individual, with fresh new ideas, pragmatic team player with a genuine integrity and with desire to achieve, to join our Nestlé Import Export Team in Sofia at the position of: Import Export Specialist 

 

A day in the life of Import Export Specialist


•    Own the process: Oversee the entire product journey — from product launch to successful delivery and satisfied customers worldwide
•    Leverage trade agreements: Calculate preferential origins and maximize the benefits of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs)
•    Be the compliance champion: Secure respective permits and licenses, ensure accurate HS code classification, and keep documentation fully aligned with customs regulations
•    Drive smarter ways of working: Challenge inefficiencies, reduce waste, and bring fresh ideas for automation and digitalization
•    Build strong partnerships: Foster collaborative relationships with government authorities, service providers, and suppliers to keep operations running smoothly
•    Support strategic projects: Collaborate internally and contribute to company-wide initiatives
•    Measure and improve: Track KPIs, support audits, and continuously review processes to ensure top performance


 
What will make you successful?


•    Ideally, you are a proactive, service-oriented person with strong analytical skills, data-driven thinking, and result focus.
•    You have minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience complemented by a university degree in Economics, Organizational Sciences, or Logistics.
•    You excel in both written and verbal communication, with the ability to negotiate effectively and foster positive relationships with stakeholders
•    You bring developed organizational skills that enable you to manage tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
•    You have excellent knowledge of Bulgarian and English language, both written and spoken
•    You are advanced user of the MS Office suite, leveraging these tools to enhance productivity
•    You have a knowledge of Bulgarian and EU applicable laws and regulations related to Customs, Inspections, and other government agencies relevant for foreign trade of food
•    Experience in SAP would be an advantage
