  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality (factory or R&D environment) Industrial – FMCG exposure

Position Summary

As a Food Safety Manager with a veterinary degree, your main responsibility will be to provide necessary veterinary and food safety support to European and Local Management staff allowing production and marketing of safe products, label compliant pet food.
 

A day in the life of a Food Safety Manager (Veterinary degree)

  • Second Purina EMENA Head of Quality in developing food Safety roadmap by driving our ambitions and objectives in this area.
  • Support Purina EMENA Quality team in ensuring that our Quality system is in place, is efficient and obtains expected results for the Nestlé production facilities used by NPP EMENA
  • Represent Purina EMENA at National & European Trade Association level in dedicated working groups (feed materials / additives / nutrition / labelling / environment - sustainability)
  • Participate to Purina Innovation & Renovation activities by being the contact point for the any food safety related matters.
  • Drive technical support to Consumer Service, Sales & Marketing and Supply chain on food safety related issues, including management of sensitive complaints and interactions with Authorities
  • Participate in redesigning our consumer engagement actions, having a key role in scientific content creation. 
     

What will make you successful

  • Veterinary diploma
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Quality (factory or R&D environment) Industrial – FMCG exposure
  • Consumer insight knowledge is a strong asset. Background knowledge in HACCP is a plus
  • Mobility: 30% of travels
  • Languages: Fluent in English
  • Proficiency in Russian is a plus
