Position Summary

 

As a Global Strategy Development Manager, you will drive the global business portfolio strategy for our Nestlé Waters SBU to support profitable growth. In this role you will identify future opportunities for the category and our business and manage strategic projects to capture these opportunities. You will also act as a primary point of contact for the Group Portfolio Strategy for all Waters-category specific questions and provide general support to the SBU LT as well as coordinate with finance, innovation, marketing departments and zones.

A Day in the Life of a Global Strategy Development Manager

 

  • Drive our business portfolio strategy by defining brands and market’s role in the global portfolio, recommend trade-offs (resources, focus, financial objectives) and inform business choices
  • Support the global business strategy revision by leading specific strategic priorities (incl. sizing of the opportunity, elaboration of the approach to win and alignment of key stakeholders)
  • Identify business opportunities based on category, consumer segmentation and portfolio analysis to fuel the Global Business Strategy
  • Lead strategic initiatives to capture future opportunities (incl. M&A, new business segments, change in ways of operating business)
  • Ensure portfolio vision and Global Business Strategy are well captured into our business model and planification process 

What will make you successful

 

  • University degree or equivalent
  • Max. 7 years of experience in strategy consulting complemented by experience in consumer marketing in FMCG
  • Exposure to large matrix organization, strong business acumen and ability to think in terms of value creation
  • First experience in M&A (due-diligence, integration, valuation, business cases) and knowledge of pre-processing and analyzing consumer driven data (trends, market shares etc.)
  • Used to delivering results and influence others in a transversal manner, outside of a hierarchical framework
