Master’s degree in communication, corporate affairs or equivalent
10+ years relevant experience in Communications background, preferably Bottled Water, FMCG / beverage.

Position Summary

At Nestlé Waters, our employees and company performance is measured by the concrete and positive contributions of everyone on its environment. 
As Issues and crisis manager, you protect, enhance and strengthen Nestlé Waters corporate reputation. You support the Head of Corp Affairs by leading zone support of crisis management in Zone Europe markets. You Manage and execute any capability building plans linked to preparedness.            
 

A day in the life of...

•    Provide critical, expert insight into business: connect and share cross market insight and trends, actively advise on important issues and projects related to health, water stewardship, biodiversity, packaging, transport, emission, carbon neutrality                                                                                                                                      
•    Participate in appropriate professional networks
•    lead Issues and Crisis preparedness for Waters Zone Europe to ensure readiness and mitigate risks to category through effective anticipation, alignment, message harmonization and proactive management
•    Lead crisis management to improve market capabilities and preparedness in crisis and issues management (Training, processes, insight, consult on Issues, development of statements and response plan)
•    Lead Category crisis and issues management (strategy, plan, process, communication) for EUR markets and support Head of Corporate Affairs & Sustainability
•    Activate overarching strategy on issues and crisis management and support Crisis management (crisis cells) in the different markets
•    Defend our brand and business social license to operate by enhancing and strengthening Nestle Waters reputation through development and execution of issues management strategies

•    Developed experience in multi-market crisis preparedness and issue & Crisis management, working on confidential projects
•    Experience working in an international scope, together with a demonstrated ability to manage people and drive change in a matrix organization
•    capability to relate to and engage people of diverse cultural backgrounds and multiple functions 
•    Solid knowledge of the FMCG/ Bottled Water industry including competitors, and related associations & authorities
•    Experience in employee engagement and change management programmes
