Position Summary

Join our Ideation & Consumer Connection team at Nestlé Product Technology Centre, in Singapore & help us create the future of the coffee category!
 

As an entrepreneurial-minded, future-focused and experienced Senior Consumer & Marketplace Insight Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying actionable & differentiating consumer insight for brands like NESCAFÉ, the world’s No.1 coffee brand. You will champion this insight and help guide its translation into competitive product propositions, which are meaningful for consumers, the markets who launch & the strategic development of the brand.

In a context of fast pace Innovation and Renovation, you will need to be a great people person, able to collaborate with peers & stakeholders, including Global Brand teams, Ideation & Concept Generation teams, Project Managers, Technical teams and teams in each local market.

You will also contribute to the success of our I&R programs by leveraging your knowledge in traditional research methods, as well as your experience in social listening, growth hacking/rapid experimentation technics and innovative consumer methods.



 

A day in the life of...

  • Develop a deep understanding of our consumers and product categories and turn it into actionable findings and engaging stories, enabling successful ideation and innovation
  • Be the voice of consumers and a strong team player in cross-functional project teams, providing full innovation CI expertise and leading I&R consumer activities
  • Plan and execute consumer research, adjusting the techniques to the needs, budget and required pace
  • Drive the adoption of relevant social listening tools that you will have previously screened and selected for their relevance to Ideation and I&R
  • Help to identify new strategic business opportunities and new consumer behaviors championing social listening
  • Pilot new, disruptive techniques, satisfying to the need of an incubator
  • Have regular interactions with your peers, based in 3 global R&D Centers and in other research locations
     

What will make you successful

  • Bachelors’ Degree in a relevant field
  • 8-12years of working experience in consumer insight, ideally in an innovation context
  • Highly developed skills to identify & translate Insights into meaningful Innovation
  • You are open-minded, creative, curious and have experienced novel consumer research techniques
  • Proficient in Social Listening tools and/or has established successful collaboration with specialized agencies
  • Strong story-telling and analytical skills
  • Strong team player, excellent communication/relational and stakeholder management skills
