The Lab Technician is responsible to carry out testing of samples with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring adherence to procedures in both quality and timeliness. Operate and maintain equipment in optimal condition, meticulously documenting all processes in accordance with quality system and accreditation requirements. Actively seeks opportunities to enhance skills and competencies, aligning with the needs of respective sections and following the development plan.

A day in the life of a Lab Technician...

1. Testing and Analysis: Conduct the analysis according to the plan and laboratory instructions in order to meet TAT and DDA.
2. Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Follow SOP to operate & maintain equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
3. Safety and 5s: Follows strictly safety protocols, adhere to regulatory guidelines to ensure safe working environments. Actively involve in safety activities. Regularly perform 5s under responsibility as per 5s principle
4. Maintenance of basic lab apparatus e.g. pH meter, balance
5. Daily and scheduled housekeeping of laboratory
6. Replenish & ordering of laboratory technical material stock & inventory check
