Traineeship Description:
The trainee will support the Open Innovation team in crowdsourcing and evaluating ideas and technologies from the regional ecosystem through initiatives such as student challenges and closed door startup fairs. The trainee will facilitate in the assessment and development of new opportunities with internal teams and contribute to selected projects and centre-wide activities. The role also provides exposure to partner engagement, including visits, meetings, demo sessions, and ecosystem events, enabling a holistic understanding of how Nestlé collaborates externally to accelerate innovation.
Specific Responsibilities:
- 1. Conducting external innovation/capability mapping, background research, and due‑diligence inputs.
- 2. Supporting preliminary assessments of potential partners and preparing materials for discussions or technical exchanges.
- 3. Organizing partner visits, meetings, demo sessions, and event‑related documents (briefing notes, welcome materials, and follow‑ups).
- 4. Assisting with partnership‑tracking tools, NDA workflows, SharePoint updates, and coordination across internal and external teams.
Technical Skills and Competencies:
- 1. Good understanding of food science, chemistry, or engineering.
- 2. Ability to research, analyze, and consolidate information on regional startups, emerging technology landscapes, and partner capabilities.
- 3. Strong organizational and event‑coordination skills including logistics, agenda preparation, and communication.
- 4. Proficient in MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
