A day in the life of a Pilot Plant Technician (Warehouse Material Handler)

  • Goods receiving of incoming Goods(Raw materials/Packaging materials/Consumables) for Pilot plant.
  • Plan, execute, and follow-up the operational Logistics tasks within the R&D by supporting the PMs, Pilot Plant AND all project teams to actively manage R&D logistical issues. (this mainly consist of raw material weighing,goods receiving, goods issuance, storage in and out - FIFO, etc..)
  • Ensure efficient on time execution of logistical activities as per material requests from Project Managers using NesTMS and internal webforms, systems.
  • Record all transaction accurately in NesTMS. (Goods issue/inventory counts/ scrapping materials etc..)
  • Build expertise within logistics, gaining a full and in-depth understanding of RDSG Center's business and project needs.
  • Deputise team member's role when required.
  • Support other adhoc support request for Site related task assigned by Logistics Group Leader.

 

What will make you successful

  • Minimum Secondary or ITE level of education/above.
  • Minimum 2 years logistic/warehouse experience and broad experience of ingredients management systems.
  • Able to handle minimum 25kg load with aid of lifting equipment.                                                                               
  • Able to operate stacker / forklift or other mechanical lifting devices
  • Clerical experience in the Exporting field
