A day in the life of a Regulatory and Scientific Affairs Senior Specialist…
- Act as a strategic business partner and and helps navigate in the regulatory uncertainty (grey zone) to create business opportunities
- Drive regulatory activities in the dedicated innovation/renovation platforms through the world together with project stakeholders and market RSA
- Shape the regulatory environment to increase competitiveness of the products
- Support and train stakeholders and market RSA (scientific -regulatory matters, tools…)
- Provide insight into SBU-Nutrition -RSA processes and SOP development
- Ensure regulatory compliance (ingredient, product, labeling ...) directly and in relation with market RSA and Global stakeholders
- Represent SBU Nutrition externally in relevant forums (industry associations, regulatory bodies etc)
What will make you successful
- Bachelors’ Degree in a related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in different positions in Food industry or relevant Trade Associations in science, regulatory or close to product development.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills in difficult operational environment with capability to overcome obstacles.
- Capacity to manage workload through efficiency, prioritization and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Experience in effective networking across functional boundaries.
- Experience of working with commercial teams and demonstrated ability to communicate topics in a simple, business friendly manner is a must.
- Experience in dealing with regulators.
