We are looking for a Supply Planning Analyst to join our Demand & Supply Planning team. In this role, you will act as a market Supply Planning Subject Matter Expert (SME), ensuring the availability of finished goods to meet customer demand at the right location and freshness level, while optimizing inventory and minimizing costs. You will play a key role in defining supply network strategies, driving inventory optimization, and enhancing planning capabilities across the organization.
A Day in the Life of a Supply Planning Analyst
- As a Supply Planning Analyst, you will drive supply planning excellence by balancing customer service, inventory, and operational efficiency across multiple business units.
- Define and monitor supply network strategies to ensure optimal product availability and service levels across the business.
- Analyze supply plans, stock movements, and inter-distribution center requirements to continuously improve network performance and customer service.
- Manage finished goods inventory and stock cover to achieve freshness, working capital, and customer order fulfillment targets.
- Lead supply review discussions with factories and business units, driving decision-making to balance service levels and inventory performance.
- Establish and optimize stock policies, replenishment strategies, and supply planning parameters using planning tools and network simulations.
- Partner closely with Sales, Customer Supply Chain, Operations, and Manufacturing teams to manage supply constraints and support business priorities.
- Provide training, coaching, and capability development to supply planners, supporting best-practice adoption and continuous improvement.
- Drive planning system utilization, process excellence, and supply chain optimization initiatives across the organization.
What Will Make You Successful
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Experience in Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Operations Planning, Inventory Management, or related areas.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into business decisions.
- Experience working with planning systems, inventory optimization, or supply chain analytics tools.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage complexity, prioritize effectively, and make decisions in a dynamic business environment.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities. Experience with ERP/APO/OMP or similar planning tools is an advantage.
