Be a force for good with Nestlé Indonesia by playing the role as Supply Analyst you will responsible to ensure finished goods are available meet Customer demand, at the right stock location and with high Freshness, whilst minimizing Cost. This position specifically addresses cross-functional decisions on short term operational stock cover policy across Business Units/factories to deliver high level data accuracy. For medium to long term horizon, identify, synthesize and implement Supply network and inventory strategy to constantly improve distribution. Provide leadership across all parts of the site/unit to enable staff to deploy and leverage systems and adoption of daily/weekly/monthly supply planning processes as per recommended best practice
A day of life of…
- Supply Planning: Define annual supply network strategy for all Business Units and monitor adherence on monthly basis. Analyze and evaluate the supply plan and net dispatch requirements at above Business Units level for inter-Distribution Center movements and bring continuous improvements while delivering high levels of service.
- Inventory Management: Balance the need for product availability versus the need to minimize
- costs of inventory to ensure optimum stocks of the right material in the right location"
- Exceptions Management: Lead supply reviews with Business Units/factories to analyze exceptions and take business decisions (based on priorities or after arbitration) and to adjust planning results accordingly for right balance in stock and service at aggregated level (F&B / NiM). Inform market and zone stakeholders as necessary.
- Provide Guidance: Establish stock policies for Finished Goods by using unbundling tools and network strategy. Periodically review the stock level of the domestic and imported products to pro-actively look for solutions in case of deviations. Align replenishment strategy for short term 1-3 months with Sales and O2C team as per stock outlook for fair-share distribution of products with supply constraints.
- Develop Capability: Ensure training and coaching is provided to supply planners to help them take ownership of process and leverage available tools for efficient and effective planning. Drive internal and external benchmarking on Supply Planning Best Practices and performance.
- Drive Improvements: Challenge Manufacturing on regular basis to manage lot sizes/cycle times, Logistics on transit times and QA for standard release time to drive optimum Finish Goods inventory level. Also, challenge and support Demand Planners to improve Demand Planning Accuracy.
What will make you successful
- Candidate must possess at least bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably Engineering field
- Passionate in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods industry
- Fluent in English both oral & written
- One or two years of relevant operations experience, in at least one of the following areas:
- Factories
- Production and Distribution planning
- Factory Logistics
- Demand & Supply Planning
- O2C / Customer service
- Experience with project work and project management
