Position Summary:
Responsibility to co-pilot the business to ensure the market is on track to achieve its targets
- Co-pilots the business development and decision making in the market, partnering with Commercial Managers
- Builds business plans and defines ways to identify gaps and opportunities to reach periodic targets.
- Responsible for consolidating sales activities within the commercial channels and integrates them in the budgeting and forecasting process
- Manages the MBP process, to accurately forecast sales and expenses
- Monitors actuals and identify gaps to budget. Finds root causes for deviations and implement actions to close gaps
- Delivers business updates to ManCom and identifies risks and opportunitties in the plan
A Day in the Life of a Performance Marketing Specialist
- Facilitates the Operational Plan consolidation. Puts together both sales and expenses forecast and challenges the budget owners and commercial teams to set challenging and achievable goals.
- Participate in the Generating Demand strategy (sales/TTS bias) development process and ensure the plans are executed inline with the strategy.
- Optimise sales investments (ROI): Ensure that group pre/post promotion evaluation strategy is established, rolled out and central learning logs current. Ensure practices and procedures are in place to determine if Nestle performance is in line with contractual agreements.
- Preparation, analysis and communication of specific sales and TTS reporting and involvement in all GD reporting from group control. Linking actuals with DF and risk/opportunities identified.
- Monitor evolution of sales MOGE's and advise sales organisation on annual resource planning and variance tracking.
- Custodian of internal controls and assurance that sales practices & entries comply with internal and external guidelines.
- Be the ambassador (co-pilot) between the finance community and sales teams to ensure transparency, alignment and proactive collaboration.
- Provide financial insights for business growth with customer facing supply chain initiatives and measures of success.
- Develop and leverage a global community of sales co-pilots.
- Participation in group e-commerce strategy, financial tools and justification, long term strategy & roll out
- Improve Sales, Marketing and Finance business acumen through training and on-going financial support
- Development of new tools, processes and best practices aligned with the centre, rolled out to markets.
What will make you successful…
Education:
- Degree in Finance, or Accounting or relevant experience in the related fields.
Professional experience:
- 5–8 years in Finance/Controlling, preferably in an FMCG environment
- 2+ years in Sales or Commercial Finance partnering
- Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Knowledge of trade spend, customer profitability, and commercial strategy
- Business acumen and strategic thinking
- Advanced financial modeling and reporting skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
- Proactive, collaborative, and results-driven mindset
