We are looking for a Factory Quality Manager who will be the guardian of Food Safety and compliance for all activities in the factory. In his role, he will be working with all functions and driving Nestle continuous excellence for Zero defect as basis for maintaining the Consumer Preference and trust.

 

Focus of this role is to:

 

  • Ensure food safety and compliance at the factory providing leadership and support in achieving Business objectives.
  • Ensure that products are released on time and in compliance with Internal and external requirement
  • Collaborate with others and ensure trust and consumer preference improvement by appropriate actions and resources
  • Develop autonomy, empower and engage with people to become high performing through Standards implementation and continuous improvement mindset

                                                                       

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

 

Functional Responsibilities

 

  • Safety (SHE): Ensure adherence to good hygienic practices in the factory (NGMP, NGHE, …). Develop and ensure proper deployment of the Pest Control management program in the factory through defined accesses, controls and procedures
  • Quality System & Compliance: Set up and manage the Nestle Quality Management System in the factory, including Operating Quality Manual/Nestle  Integrated Management System Manual (NIMS) with the specific regulatory requirement if any. Set up and maintain product monitoring plans to ensure full compliance of products
  • Operations and Performance: Ensure the correct operations in the factory laboratory including personal safety, availability of equipment and training of Techniciens
  • Root Cause analysis & Continuous improvement : Sustain monitoring of key quality drivers and parameters through Nestle Systems to ensure continuous improvement aiming for Zero defect.
  • People Development: Develop and maintain competences and quality awareness, engage and foster the Zero-defect culture/mindset through root cause analysis  

 

         What will make you successful…

 

 

  • Academic Experience: University graduate or equivalent (preferred microbiology, chemistry   or food science)
  • Operational Experience: Demonstrated capability to lead a group, e.g:

- Group leader in a factory: Deputy QA, Quality Systems, Hygienist; or

- QA specialist in a PTC or R&D Centre, NRC, CO-QM

- Business Experience

- Management exposure across several functions

- Experience in working with cross-functional teams (delivering results)
