We are looking for a Warehouse Manager with Required Knowledge and expertise to ensure smooth flow of Materials & information for inbound and outbound in the warehouse, in line with the good warehousing practices. The warehouse is located in a Green Field Food Factory in Jeddah.

In this role, you manage the warehouse operations to deliver timely and efficiently the appropriate service within the expected cost and in a safe and sustainable level of performance. The operations in the warehouse must be cost effective meaning driven by initiatives to consistently ensure reduction of cost through coaching and retaining logistic competencies working hand in hand with other factory functions

 

Focus of this role is to:

  • Ensure optimized Warehouse Management Operations to deliver timely, with appropriate service levels and cost in a safe and sustainable environment
  • Manage Nestle SHE and Good warehousing Practice Standards. Drive Safety culture in the warehouse
  • Ensure cost effective operations through Cost improvement process initiatives to reduce/eliminate waste, through competent team working in constant engagement with other factory functions.

Functional Responsibilities

 

  • Safety (SHE): Deliver on the specific OSHE roadmap for the site, and develop the safety Culture in the site.
  • Quality: Lead NQMS and QiVC initiatives for the site and work in close collaboration with CFSC to transfer good warehouse practices to Customers.
  • Continuous Improvement (NCE): Contribute to the Market OMP Targets and supplying factory priorities. Actively ensure continuous process improvement and lead the site-specific activities (VSED, etc) through NCE/TPM, effective reviews internally and with other functions using cross functional activities.
  • People Development: Ensure People development through Skill Matrix evaluation for all warehouse positions, using succession Plans and carrier development process for the warehouse staff. Collaborate with various stakeholders outside Nestle to gauge the development happening in the operating environment in terms of competitive activity, labor, Transportation Markets, etc.
  • Operations/Performance: Execute the Planning and ensure planned material/reception and delivery is executed as per the Plan and allocate priorities accordingly. Manage throughput of Raw & Packaging Materials and Finished Goods as well as yard activities in compliance within company guidelines (GWP, NSHE policies). Create a site improvement roadmap in terms of Safety, cost, service, quality, compliance, productivity aligned to the Nestle good warehousing Practices (SAP WM, Bad Goods management, Warehouse utilization, …).
  • Cost: Contribute to the overall TDC framework by contributing to E2E improvement projects, while ensuring cost effective operations in the warehouse. Maintain accurate inventory accuracy for all Raw & Packaging Materials (RPM) and Finished Goods (FG) stored in the warehouse

  • Safety, Health & Environment standards
  •  Storage, racking & MHE types
  •  Material handling SAP transactions and reporting
  • Inventory control
  • Food safety in the warehouse
  • 5s
  • Warehousing; Inbound Material Management; Operations Planning.
  • Good warehousing practices, Inbound & Outbound operation
  • Relevant operational experience at market/plant level in the following areas is beneficial:

-    LEAN / 5S processes

-    Cost management

-    Transports

-    Procurement operations

  • Experience managing a team, Safety responsibility at warehouse operations
  • Participated in Cost optimization of warehousing operation
  • NCE & Goal alignment practices, coaching and exposure to different teams
