POSITION SUMMARY

Nestled at the confluence of the Rock and Crawfish rivers, our factory has been a cornerstone since 1910. As one of the largest manufacturers in the region, we ship countless truckloads and railcars of beloved brands like Fancy Feast®, Friskies®, and Pro Plan®. Beyond our mass production, our Jefferson factory proudly donates 1.2 million cans of food annually, supporting over 40 animal shelters and organizations. Our factory is also doing our part to care for the environment we share, like conserving water, investing in renewable electricity, and maintaining zero waste for disposal. As a Manufacturing Production Coordinator (Inventory Control Coordinator), you’ll work closely with the manufacturing and material handling teams within the factory to support the collection, entry, and reporting of manufacturing and inventory management functions. Your work directly impacts operations planning, costing, and production efficiency. With your understanding of a manufacturing environment, you’ll collaborate effectively with the production and materials accounting teams to monitor data and make recommendations for improvements.

• Record and track all production activities within the manufacturing systems
• Perform master data maintenance including entry and validation of materials requirements and production planning metrics
• Reconcile materials usage transactions and resolve variances
• Perform inventory management functions such as cycle counts, variance analysis and balance reconciliation
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams such as production, operations, quality, and accounting

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1+ years’ of experience with materials, accounting, inventory, or production systems in a manufacturing, military, or related environment

Other 

• 2-year accounting degree or equivalent experience preferred

The approximate pay range for this position is $42,000 to $53,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
