Tool Crib Attendant 1st Shift $25.44 hourly
The Tool Crib Attendant works under the supervision of the Supervisor performing activities such as
purchases, receives, stores, issues, and tracks spare parts, tools, materials, and equipment.
• Work safely in a manufacturing environment by maintaining safety awareness, following guidelines,
inspecting and properly using PPE, completing required safety training, performing risk predictions and
other relevant techniques.
• Issue inventory items to team members
o Look up parts in SAP
o Locate stock in the tool crib
o Log stock items on checkout sheet
o Issue stock items in SAP
• Write breakdown work orders in AMM
• Create purchase requisitions in SAP
o Call, fax, or e-mail requests for quotes to suppliers
• Receive, inspect, inventory, label, and store incoming shipments (parts, equipment, supplies, etc.)
• Monitor all radio calls for breakdowns, parts requests, deliveries, etc.
• Take parts to mechanics to minimize downtime
• Operate a forklift in order to unload trucks
• Manage universal waste storage
• Prepare repairs for pickup or shipment
• Conduct inventory cycle counts
• Keep the tool crib clean and organized
• Assist mechanics with completing purchase requests
• Assist mechanics with the process of recommending new min/max stock levels
• Use PPE as required
• Deliver all MSDS documents to the plant nurse
• Maintain manuals and vendor cata logs
• Team Members shall understand and follow factory management systems for human safety, food safety
and/or environmental management. Understand and actively work toward achieving management
system targets and objectives.
• Team Members shall follow the plant rules, policies, procedures, and/or practices related to management
systems. Employee will report incidents and unsafe conditions immediately, maintain compliance with
regulations, and refer to the appropriate management system on all related procedures and programs
• Review historical data in order to adjust min/max stock levels
• Maintain a positive working relationship with fellow team members and other departments.
• Complete required training including ilearns, OJT, classroom, or other delivery methods that foster
continued human development.
• All other duties and tasks including both essential and nonessential as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education
• Minimum 1 year related and verifiable work experience may be substituted for education
Experience:
• Similar experience supporting stock room, tool crib, or related preferred
Skills:
• Basic PC Skills
• Basic level Microsoft Word & Excel
• Must be able to multi-task while working safely in a fast-paced
environment
• Must be able to work with team members at all levels in a courteous and
professional manner
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to utilize good judgment to make sound decisions
Pay: $25.44 per hour
Bonus Eligibility: Yes
The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
