Receiving Coordinator $23.75 with $1.50 Shift Differential 
 
3:00pm-11:30pm    Monday-Friday

 

The Receiving Coordinator works under supervision of Logistics Team Leader with the guidance of other members of operations, maintenance, and plant management.

 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

 

•    High school diploma or GED required.
•    Previous experience in warehouse, shipping, inventory management in a computerized setting is preferred.  
•    Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
•    Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and organizational skills required.
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment; Ability to manage multiple tasks and workload.
•    Basic skills in problem solving, math, bookkeeping and analytical/decision making.
•    Ability to read, interpret and analyze computer-generated reports.


JOB RESPONSIBILITY DESCRIPTION 

 

•    Monitor shipments of inbound raw materials and packaging into Nestle Warehouse:
•    Schedule daily receipts (Truckload & LTL) into the plant. 
•    Maintain & communicate truckload schedule for plant deliveries.
•    Resolve issues and notify affected teams to ensure on-time deliveries.
•    Ensure code breakdowns from vendors are available to receiving teams.
•    Check each receipt keyed into our location to ensure POs are received accurately.
•    Process all frozen raw materials receipts from Millard on a timely basis:
•    Receive into SAP; Ensure accuracy; Notify Inventory Control of short shipments..
•    Coordinate with Inventory Control and IG Lab to ensure timely release for production.
•    Coordinate frozen product tempering according to production needs:
•    Ensure pallet movements are planned and communicated within FEFO guidelines.
•    Work with Physical Inventory team to monitor tempered pallet movement.
•    Prepare reports as necessary or requested:
•    Run FEFO report daily (6:00 AM).  Coordinate & train backup to ensure daily reporting.
•    Run Daily Receipts and Outside Storage Reports for Millard and Nestle Warehouses.
•    Coordinate CHEP pallet receipts and billing:
•    Monitor truckload deliveries of blue wood from CHEP facility.  Ensure adequate supply.
•    Review and prepare CHEP invoices for payment.
•    Assist with CHEP inventory counts and prepare audit reports as needed.
•    Coordinate outbound shipping requests from the plant:
•    Coordinate with Inventory Control and obtain freight quotes where necessary.
•    Secure carriers; Prepare Bills of Lading; Review documentation and file paperwork.
•    Transfer materials in SAP from warehouse to Millard for shipments to sister plants.
•    Coordinate with receivers to move physical pallets to tunnel for shipments.
•    If requested, coordinate shipping requests for maintenance, QA, TAG.
•    Must be proficient with various systems (SAP, WORD, OUTLOOK, EXCEL, etc).
•    Organize and maintain receiving files accurately and securely.
•    Contact the safety team for BBS observation training and then complete and turn in at a minimum 1 BBS observation per week
•    Must be willing to work on the production line if there is no rework to be done or the need of the business requires this.
•    Other duties as assigned.
